| Sometimes called the Mediterranean
or Sun Room, the Lean-to is the simplest –and
often the most inexpensive – conservatory design,
sharing one wall with the main building or sometimes
two adjoining walls in an inside corner. It has a
simple pitched roof without a ridge. Despite
its simplicity there are still variations for you
to access to consider:
Position the door to suit movement round the furniture
and garden/patio.
The roof can be steep or shallow-pitched depending
on your preference or what Suits the house style
best.
If you prefer a corner-fill
conservatory can have a ridged roof, using box-gutter
drainage against the main building.
